8. Supporting a connected city
This project will have a special connection to the immediate area around it. Our aim is to regenerate an historically significant but currently underused part of the city and to animate the surrounding throughfares. However, this is a design that is city-wide in terms of its ambition for impact. As such it is important to understand how it will connect into existing and planned infrastructure across Belfast.
Springboard to the city
The location of Belfast Stories in the city centre will establish an anchor destination that attracts visitors in, orientates them and supports their onward journey into Belfast’s neighbourhoods and beyond.
Belfast Stories will connect into existing tourism, culture and education infrastructure.
Belfast Stories will connect into existing and planned travel networks.
