This annual men’s event is the only National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division 1 ice hockey tournament to take place outside of North America.
It brings world-class hockey to Belfast, as part of our Sister Cities relationship with Boston, and includes education, cultural and community activities, alongside the matches.
This year, participating teams include University of Connecticut, Providence College, University of Minnesota Duluth and Colgate University.

This event is organised by our council and is part of our European City of Sport 2026 programme, together with our leisure partners, GLL, and ACES – Worldwide Capitals and Cities of Sport Federation.
