City Quays Gardens is a two-acre green public space in Belfast city centre which opened in 2025.
Located between the Harbour Offices on Corporation Square and the River Lagan waterfront, it features green spaces, seating, trees, event lawns with amphitheatre seating and outdoor workspace. It also offers an off-road cycle route along the waterfront.
The new public space blends the rich industrial and maritime heritage of the area with an innovative and sustainable design.
Our Vacant to Vibrant schemes provided capital grants to incentivise property owners and potential occupiers in bringing vacant properties back into use in local neighbourhoods and the city centre.

Weavers Cross is a new city centre neighbourhood created around Grand Central Station - the city’s new rail, bus and coach station - which opened in 2024.
It is a mixed-use development comprising grade A office, residential, leisure and public realm spaces, spanning around 1.5 million square feet. The Weavers Cross concept embodies the principles of the 15-minute city, where residents and visitors have convenient access to all their essential services – work, social and leisure-related – within a short walk or cycle.
