Step through the looking glass at this year’s Spring Fair, as Belfast welcomes the season with an enchanting Alice in Wonderland-themed celebration.

Belfast City Council’s popular free family event returns on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April 2026, from 1.30pm to 5.30pm on both days.

Malone House and Barnett Demesne will once again be transformed into a celebration of music, arts and family-friendly fun, with this year’s festivities drawing inspiration from the whimsical world of Wonderland.

There will be a host of activities to enjoy, including the Spring Flower Show, curious characters, live music and entertainment, farmyard animals, food and craft stalls, circus skills workshops, floral art, a sports zone and more.

Launching the event at Barnett Demesne, Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Tracy Kelly, said: “Our annual free Spring Fair is always a highlight in Belfast’s event calendar, and this year’s Alice in Wonderland theme adds an extra layer of magic and imagination.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity for families and friends to visit our beautiful Malone House, enjoy the gardens and experience everything from beautiful blooms to lively entertainment.”

There is no parking at Malone House and Barnett Demesne during Spring Fair, but a free park and ride service will operate from Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park.

The first bus to leave Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park will be at 1pm and the last bus to leave Barnett Demesne will be at 5.45pm.

You can also take the Translink service bus from Donegall Square East in the city centre on Saturday (Metro Bus 8A or 8B) and on Sunday every 30 minutes (Metro 8A).

Check the Translink website for more information.

Only assistance dogs will be permitted into the event.
