Alderman Tommy Patton Memorial Park

Park information

Alderman Tommy Patton Memorial Park is also known as Inverary Playing Fields. The park is named after a local councillor. The park has a bowling green, sports pitches and a children's playground. The park also has an aeromodelling area and a species-rich grassland. There are woodland trails and in early summer, abundant wildflowers.

You cannot use a disposable barbecue in our parks.

Getting to Alderman Tommy Patton Memorial Park

The park is in east Belfast. Enter the park at Holywood Road or Inverary Avenue. If you are travelling by bus, take Metro no. 3 or 28 from Belfast city centre, or plan your journey with Translink (link opens in new window).

Our parks open at 7.30am every day. Closing times change as daylight lengthens or shortens. Ballysillan Park and Glenbank Park close 30 minutes before our other parks.
