Visiting City Hall grounds during Belfast Christmas Market

From 15 November to 22 December 2025, you can access City Hall grounds when the Christmas market is open on:

• Monday to Wednesday from 10am to 8pm
• Thursday to Saturday from 10am to 10pm
• Sunday from 12 noon to 6pm

The grounds at Belfast City Hall have memorials to the history, people and events associated with the city.

Getting to City Hall grounds

Enter the park through Donegall Square North, Donegall Square East and Donegall Square West. Belfast City Hall is located in the city centre, near most major bus stops, or plan your journey with Translink (link opens in new window).

Events and activities in City Hall grounds

Various non-commercial events and activities can take place on the lawns and cobbled paths in the grounds.
