Visiting City Hall grounds
City Hall will be closed for the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann opening ceremony on Sunday 2 August until 2pm.
Photography and drone footage
We will be taking photographs, drone and video footage at City Hall from Saturday 1 August to Monday 10 August 2026, between 11am and 11pm. Photos and footage could be used on our website, social media and internal communication channels.
Memorials in City Hall grounds
The grounds at Belfast City Hall have memorials to the history, people and events associated with the city.

Getting to City Hall grounds
Enter the park through Donegall Square North, Donegall Square East and Donegall Square West. Belfast City Hall is located in the city centre, near most major bus stops, or plan your journey with Translink (link opens in new window).
Events and activities in City Hall grounds
Various non-commercial events and activities can take place on the lawns and cobbled paths in the grounds.
