Springfield Dam in west Belfast opened to the public in December 2020 following a £1.2 million redevelopment. This work was part of the Forth Meadow Community Greenway project.
Getting to Springfield Dam
Enter the park at Springfield Road or Clovelly Street. If you are travelling by bus from Belfast city centre, take Metro no.80, 80A, 81 and 81A.
Community building
The community building is closed due to coronavirus restrictions. This building will be available to local community groups, schools, youth projects and people to book when coronavirus restrictions are eased.
Park events
To find events and activities in Belfast parks, go to Park events.
As part of the Forth Meadow Community Greenway Shared Services and Spaces programme, we're developing plans to hold community events in Springfield Dam. Events could include family fun days, craft fairs, cultural, environmental and schools events.
