Community Support Plan 2025-2029

  • Community Support Plan

We have published a draft Community Support Plan for our Community Services Unit. The plan covers 2025-2029 and outlines how we want to support a more engaged and more resourceful community. We will do this through our resources, community facilities and support to voluntary and community organisations in Belfast.

To read an executive summary of the plan, go to Belfast Community Support Plan 2025-2029 Executive summary.

  • Community Support Plan Large Grant Programme

The Large Grant programme is a new element in our Community Support Plan. The grants will provide funding to support the development of vibrant, inclusive communities where everyone has opportunites for involvement and development.

Eligible groups in Belfast can apply for grants to run projects and programmes that will take place between April 2026 and March 2029. Maximum grant is £60,000.
