As part of Belfast's designation as European City of Sport 2026, Belfast City Council and GLL are hosting the European City of Sport Coaching Conference at Girdwood Community Hub.
This inspiring one-day event will bring together coaches, volunteers, sports professionals, students and industry experts from across the sporting sector for a programme of learning, collaboration and professional development.
Delegates will benefit from presentations and practical workshops led by specialists in sports development, coaching, sport psychology and sport science. The conference will explore the latest trends and innovations in sport, athlete welfare and performance, while providing opportunities to network and share best practice with colleagues from across the industry.
The event is suitable for professional and volunteer coaches, club leaders, National Governing Body representatives, performance pathway practitioners, sports science and medical professionals, and students interested in developing their knowledge and networks within sport.
