Artist Studios Organisational Grants 2026-2027

Our funding is open to eligible organisations and groups that run artist studios in Belfast. These grants are for organisations which have struggled to secure funding from Belfast City Council through existing programmes and need some assistance to help stabilise and develop. 

Grants available for 2026-2027

The fund has £150,000 available and is a competitive grants process.

You can apply for up to £10,000 to use towards specified developmental needs in a 10-month period. Organisations that accommodate 25 or more active artists can apply for a grant up to £20,000. For these applicants, they must meet additional eligibility criteria and supply a suitable business case.

Eligibility for Artist Studios Organisational Grants

To be eligible to apply, your group or organisation should:

• operate an artist studio (minimum four studio members) in Belfast, or use an artist-led, co-director learning model, and
• focus predominately on visual arts or crafts.
