Short appointments are also available for birth re-registration, civil ceremony final appointments, to collect your marriage schedule and your certificate of legal capacity to marry.
Appointments take place at the Registration Office in Belfast City Hall.
Please note: Belfast will host Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann from Sunday 2 August to Sunday 9 August 2026. If you are booking an appointment between Monday 2 August and Friday 7 August, please be aware that Belfast City Hall and the city centre will be busy. Road closures will be in place and we recommend using public transport to travel. You can find more information on our Fleadh page.
