City Hall in lights

  • Belfast City Hall exterior

Belfast City Hall is a Grade A listed building. We use white light to illuminate the exterior most of the time, which is best for highlighting the building's beautiful architectural features.

Our LED lighting system at City Hall reduces our energy costs and allows us to light up the building in various colours and combinations.

Due the City Hall festive lighting programme, we are unable to accommodate illumination requests between Friday 17 November to Saturday 6 January 2024

  • Light schedule

We publish dates in 2023 when City Hall will be lit in different colours on this page. Earlier illumination occasions in 2023 and occasions in 2022 are also shown on this page.
