St George's Market is available to hire as a venue for events from Monday until Wednesday. The market has hosted food festivals, fashion shoots, press conferences, live music gigs and art initiatives.
The overall floor area spans 4,029m2 (43,3702 ft). With a capacity of 3,000 people, it can easily cater for large events, but can be subdivided into smaller spaces if required. The building has an entertainment licence.
The charges are for hiring the building. You might have others costs such as staff or electricity.

If you are a making a market application by a charitable organisation and for charitable purposes only, our fees will be reduced by 50 per cent.
If a market is held on more than 14 days per year, it requires planning permission. Our current policy states that permission will only be granted to any organisation or individual during the course of any 12-month period, to hold a maximum of 12 daily speciality markets or for no longer than 12 consecutive days.
