The children thoroughly enjoyed their summer discovery session at the zoo. It was age and stage appropriate and well-paced. Children were delighted about meeting the animals and getting to hold them too. It was an exciting and beneficial addition to our school trip.

We enjoyed a wonderful trip to Belfast Zoo. We were greeted by helpful staff from the moment we entered the Zoo. Our pupils loved interacting with John and being able to see and hold certain animals. We actually had linked up with John through The Monaghan Education Centre when we participated in an online workshop. John is so informed and I’m sure he could impart knowledge on any animal pupils may ask him about.
