Our vision is to support our residents to realise their potential by transforming skills, employability and aspiration, while supporting businesses to grow and access the talent available in the city.

Support your employees to develop their careers
We can work with employers in transport, social care or child care sectors, to run a support programme which will give employees the training and support they need to achieve qualifications to progress their careers.
Programmes Open to: Information and registration Upskilling Academy This programme is for employers in transport, social care or child care who need support to help employees have the opportunity for promotion within their organisation This programme is available for employers to make an application.

Belfast City Council is the Data Controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the personal data it gathers for the purposes of sending regular Economic Development Unit emails from Belfast City Council.
