Top travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller ranked it in the top 10 out of the 51 cities in the UK.
A top travel brand has named Belfast as one of the top ten cities in the UK for 2023.
Condé Nast Traveller, a luxury publication aimed at the independent traveller, has announced the top picks in their annual Readers' Choice Awards.
The longest-running recognition in the travel industry, more than half a million readers rated their travel experiences across the globe to make up this year's winners.
After being ranked as the second friendliest city in the UK, it may come as no surprise that Belfast has also made an impression on their 'The best cities in the UK 2023' ranking, coming in at number eight - a position retained from the 2022 awards.
CN Traveller said: "Our annual Reader's Choice Awards are the biggest and most influential in the business, shining a light on the best places around the world.
"We can now reveal the urban destinations that scored the highest marks when it comes to nightlife, restaurants and friendliness."
They continued: "The Northern Irish capital is famous for being birthplace to the RMS Titanic – but also for its vibrant culture and art scene and welcoming locals, set against a backdrop of handsome cobbled streets and dapper Edwardian buildings.
"Where to stay: At The Harrison, set in Victorian merchants' residences, given a colourful, light-hearted makeover. The hotel is close to some of the city's best cultural highlights, too."
