Titanic Quarter is one of the UK and Ireland’s most ambitious and successful waterfront regeneration projects. Located at the heart of the Belfast’s Maritime Mile, the district has evolved from masterplan to reality and now functions as a vibrant, mixed-use urban quarter, welcoming approximately 20,000 people each day to live, work, visit and stay. 

To date, over £850 million has been invested in Titanic Quarter, delivering homes for more than 1,000 residents, establishing Northern Ireland’s leading visitor and leisure destination and supporting 12,200 direct and indirect jobs across the city region. 

The Quarter is home to over 100 multinational and indigenous companies, including Citi, HBO, Amazon, Artemis Technologies and Catagen, reinforcing its role as a major centre for financial services, creative industries, advanced manufacturing and clean technology. 

Olympic House, the most recently completed flagship office development, offers high-quality Grade A accommodation built to a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard, fully fossil-fuel-free, and is now ready for occupation. 

Major residential and hospitality investment is also progressing. Loftlines, comprising 778 new apartment homes, commenced construction in June 2023 and represents the largest private-sector housing investment ever in Northern Ireland. Construction of the Hamilton Dock Hotel (228 bedrooms) began in December 2023. Both developments are scheduled for completion in 2026, significantly strengthening Titanic Quarter’s live-work-stay proposition. 

Looking ahead, Titanic Quarter’s 10-year ambition is to: 

  • Increase total investment to £2 billion 
  • Deliver over £0.5 billion of social value 
  • Grow the residential population to over 9,000 residents 
  • Increase direct and indirect employment to 27,100 jobs 

Titanic Quarter continues to lead in sustainable development and placemaking, prioritising low-carbon buildings, active travel, high-quality public realm and community wellbeing, while providing a compelling pipeline of investment opportunities within the Belfast City Region.
