Opening hours

The Building Control public reception at Cecil Ward Building is open:

• Monday to Thursday: 9am to 5pm
• Friday: 9am to 4.30pm
• Opening hours may vary on public and bank holidays. Visit our holiday arrangements for holiday opening hours.

Building control inspections

You must give us 24 hours' notice when requesting an inspection. If we cannot facilitate the inspection you will be advised of the next available date.

We aim to respond to general enquiries within two working days, for more complex enquiries we may need up to five working days.
