Access and Inclusion Fund for 2020/2021
The Access and Inclusion Fund aims to improve accessibility for people with disabilities and increase their participation in arts and cultural activities. We are administering capital grants up to £30,000 to eligible cultural organisations in Belfast. To apply, projects must be new, standalone and due to be completed by 31 March 2021. We cannot accept applications to part-fund new build projects that are already started. Closing date for grant applications is 12 noon on Monday 7 September 2020.
Some examples of eligible projects supported by the fund are:
• fully accessible swings in play parks
• doors and lifts to accommodate people with mobility issues in cultural venues
• signage to help people with visual impairments at City Hall
To ask for an application form and guidance notes on eligible projects, contact us by email: email@example.com
Access and Inclusion Fund is available through the Department for Communities' Access and Inclusion Programme.
Cultural Multi-Annual Grants
Applications for funding are currently closed.
Our Cultural Multi-Annual Grants scheme includes two funding strands:
- festivals and events organisations with an audience of more than 10,000
- arts and heritage organisations with a year-round programme of activity
There are two tiers of funding available under each strand – a two-year grant and a four-year grant. Cultural activity can include arts, heritage, architecture, sport, food, language, customs, traditions and ideas.
The two-year funding tiers are due to open in autumn 2021.
