Report a missed bin collection

    There are several reasons why your bin or box may not have been emptied. This includes bins which: 

    • are overfilled or where the lid isn’t fully closed
    • are too heavy 
    • contain the wrong items
    • are damaged
    • have a large liner inside

    In these cases, we will add a tag to your bin to explain why it has not been emptied. Follow the instructions on the tag so we can empty it on your next scheduled collection day. These collections are not considered as missed collections, and we will offer no return collection in these cases.

    You should wait until after 7pm on your usual collection day to report a missed bin collection. You can report a missed bin collection online and by phone.

    We are aware of missed Bryson Recycling collections in some parts of Belfast. We apologise to any residents impacted by this.
