    Our vision is to support our residents to realise their potential by transforming skills, employability and aspiration, while supporting businesses to grow and access the talent available in the city.

    If you are:

    • a resident looking for support to find a job or develop skills to move into employment
    • a business looking support to recruit talented staff, or willing to offer work placements for young people.
    • a young person looking support to better prepare for the world of work, develop skills and a career pathway.
    • an organisation working in the city to support people to access the world of work, provide training or skill development

  • Support your employees to develop their careers

    We can work with employers in transport, social care or child care sectors, to run a support programme which will give employees the training and support they need to achieve qualifications to progress their careers.

    Upskilling Academy This programme is for employers in transport, social care or child care who need support to help employees have the opportunity for promotion within their organisation

    This programme is available for employers to make an application.
