Christmas Lights Switch-On

The Christmas lights were switched on at Belfast City Hall on Saturday 19 November by Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Niall Ó Donnghaile and special guests, including: During the day shops, cafes, restaurants and other businesses in and around the city centre also helped shoppers get in the festive mood with music and entertainment.

Christmas Continental Market

The Christmas Continental Market opened at 12 noon on Saturday 19 November. It offers a stunning range of crafts, food and decorations from across Europe, and beyond.

Santa's Postbox

Santa's Postbox is open in the grounds of City Hall from 19 November - 18 December. So local children can make sure they get their lists to Father Christmas in plenty of time for the big day!

Every child who sends a letter will receive a personal response from the big man himself!
