The event will reflect Belfast’s rich and diverse heritage, with a selection of pieces telling the city’s musical stories. Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Róis-Máire Donnelly, will host the event.
Curated by composer Neil Martin and presented by broadcaster Lynette Fay, the evening's line-up includes:
- readings from Oscar-nominated actors Stephen Rea and Ciarán Hinds
- performances by
- Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band
- 1st Old Boys' Brass Band
- the Bothy Band
- vocalist Roisin Chambers
- harpist Séana Davey
- a special guest performance by Liam Ó Maonlaí lead vocalist in Hothouse Flowers.
