Visit an exhibition which explores Vietnam's cultural heritage through Kimanah McDermott's work.

Since choosing Belfast as her home, Kimanh has observed and reflected on how to create a deeper connection between her two homelands. The project represents the intersection of two cultures sharing the same material roots. Flax is grown in Belfast and Vietnam.

The exhibition opens on Friday 18 January at 3pm.

These activities will take place on Saturday 17 January:

  • an introduction to the exhibition from 10am to 11am
  • a handicraft and art workshop from 11am to 1pm, the workshop costs £10
  • music by Tunes Translated (Vietnamese and local) from 1pm to 5.30pm
