This year, Good Relations Week runs from Monday 20 – Sunday 26 September. The theme for 2021 is ‘Brighter Days Ahead’, focusing on peace building and cultural diversity.

Different Cultures, Similar Values - Exploring inclusivity

Date and time: 12 noon – 2pm, Tuesday 21 September, 28 September and 5 October
Location: online via Zoom

The workshops will creatively present the dichotomy of the history and culture of the African and Caribbean communities in Belfast under the theme of 'different cultures, similar values’.

Through humour, poetry and song, video clips and audience interaction, each session is designed to prompt candid dialogue amongst attendees.

Areas explored will include racism, a focus on inclusivity and barriers to such, as well as black heritage and history and its significance for people from the African and Caribbean communities living in Belfast.

Register to join us online, bring your lunch and join in with what promises to be a series of great, interactive sessions.  Each workshop will cover a different theme and you can register to attend all three.
