Hit the North is a grassroots street art festival based in a formerly derelict area of Belfast.
It has transformed hundreds of Belfast walls and showed the power of creativity, entrepreneurship and art. The festival brings some of the world’s best artists to Belfast to paint for a week. It ends with a Block Party on Union Street and Kent Street on Sunday 3 May. The event has changed the visual landscape across the city centre and Cathedral Quarter, with over 800 murals painted to date.
