The Comhaltas Gradam Inclusion Awards were one of the highlights of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann today (Monday 3 August).

The awards are a core event at the Fleadh which celebrate traditional Irish musicians with additional needs - ensuring the festival remains open and accessible to all.
 
The uplifting event took place at The MAC with the awards recipients performing solo and in groups in song, set dancing and playing traditional Irish music instruments including the bodhrán and tin whistle.
 
Among the guests were Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Róis-Máire Donnelly; President Catherine Connolly; First Minister Michelle O’Neill MLA, Communities Minister Gordon Lyons MLA and Dr Labhrás Ó Murchú, and Attracta Ní Bhrádaigh from Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.
