Grove Playing Fields has sports facilities and an outdoor gym. There is also a community garden, horticultural displays and a bowling pavilion.
Getting to Grove Playing Fields
Enter at Jellicoe Avenue. If you are travelling by bus, take Metro no.2 A-F from Belfast city centre, or plan your journey with Translink (link opens in new window).
Other attractions
The bowling greens are open April to September from 11am until 9pm on Monday to Saturday. Indoor bowling is available October to March from 11am until 4pm on Monday to Friday.
We are working on landscape designs for the land where Skegoneill Health Centre stood. When completed, the landscaping will be part of Grove Playing Fields.
Green Flag awards
Grove Playing Fields were awarded the Green Flag in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022. This award recognises the best open spaces in the UK.
