Marrowbone Millennium Park

The park reopened in October 2023 following a £4.3 million upgrade.

Improvements to Marrowbone Millennium Park

Improvements to the park included:

  • a new playground
  • 3G pitch upgraded to intermediate standard
  • a new multi-use games area (MUGA)
  • a new pavilion with spectator seating
  • a new community events space (fenced off until spring 2024 to allow the grass to take seed)

This redevelopment was funded by The Executive Office's Urban Villages Initiative, Department for Communities and Belfast City Council.
