Date: Tuesday 1 July from 11.15am
Venue: City Hall, Garden of Remembrance

This commemoration event will mark the 109th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme in which officers, non-commissioned officers and men of the 36th (Ulster) Division, the 16th (Irish) division and other forces lost their lives.
Following a meeting of our council, a short ceremony, which includes a two-minute silence and wreath laying, will be held in the Garden of Remembrance at City Hall.
This ceremony is open to the public to attend, with limited capacity available. To access, use the gates at Donegall Square West.
