Book a bus tour that explores Belfast's arts and cultural scene.
On the guided tour, you'll visit north, south, east and west Belfast. Discover arts centres, theatres, galleries and music venues. See street artwork and public sculptures. Listen to music and stories as you travel.
Bus tour overview
The tour visits The MAC, Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich, The Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen’s and EastSide Visitor Centre. You'll learn about visual artists, writers, actors, directors and musicians who were born, lived or worked in Belfast including:
- visual artists for example The Array Collective, Colin Davidson and Rita Duffy
- novelists, playwrights, scriptwriters and poets such as Anna Burns, Seamus Heaney, C S Lewis, Marie Jones, Lisa McKee, and Owen McCafferty
- film directors and actors such as Kenneth Brannagh, Liam Neeson, Jamie Dornan, Tara Lynne O’Neill and Frances Tomelty
- UNESCO City of Music performers from Van Morrison, James Galway and Ruby Murray to today’s emerging stars
There'll be opportunities for photographs during the tour.

The tour lasts four hours and starts in The MAC foyer for the first visit. After exploring Writers' Square, you'll board the bus outside St Anne's Cathedral. The bus returns to the Cathedral Quarter at 2.30pm.
