These workshops are for people who may be considering self-employment.

Each session covers a different theme. They take place in a low-pressure environment that:

  • prioritises trust
  • wellbeing, and
  • with social connection as the basis for taking part.

The sessions include the use of conversation-starter topics related to self-employment. There is a focus on creativity, storytelling, and aspiration-building as tools for developing confidence. Workshops are free and you don't need to register. You can attend as many sessions as you like.

Exploring Enterprise: Dare to Dream Inspiration Sessions

Wednesday 11 March, 7pm to 8.30pm 
Jennymount Business Park

Join to hear inspirational entrepreneurial stories, and to learn that creating your own business might be more achievable than you thought. Includes a question and answer session with opportunity to ask questions in a friendly and encouraging environment.

Crafting Connections: Creative Enterprise Storytelling and Activity Session

Thursday 12 March, 6.30pm to 8pm
Happy Days, McSweeney Centre, 25-29 Henry Place, Belfast

Come along, have a chat, get involved. Hear from an inspiring creative entrepreneur while having a go at candle painting with real pressed flowers. This is a private event for Happy Days staff.

International Women’s Day 2026: Wellness Afternoon

Arts Ekta, Olive Tree House

Celebrate International Women’s Day with inspiring local women at a relaxed afternoon of creativity, self-care and connection. Come on your own or with friends and enjoy crafting, conversations and nibbles.
