Go ON NI is a programme of free digital events and training sessions hosted in libraries and community centres.
Funded by the Department of Finance, these sessions support beginners and those looking to enhance their digital abilities.
Libraries NI provides two types of computer courses:
- Got IT - Designed for individuals struggling with technology or those seeking basic support with tablets, laptops, or mobile phones.
- Go ON - Aimed at individuals who can navigate a computer and use email but wish to enhance their skills further. This course covers tasks like online banking, shopping online, and accessing government services.

During Positive Ageing Month, Go ON NI sessions at Belfast libraries will include:

- Tuesday 7 October from 10am to 12 noon at Ormeau Library
- Wednesday 8 October from 10am to 12 noon at Suffolk Library
- Friday 10 October from 10am to 12 noon at Holywood Arches Library

- Monday 13 October from 10am to 12 noon at Chichester Library
- Thursday 16 October from 10am to 12 noon at Finaghy Library
- Friday 17 October from 10am to 12 noon at Lisburn Road Library

- Monday 20 October from 10am to 12 noon at Falls Library
- Wednesday 22 October from 10am to 12 noon at Colin Glen Library
- Thursday 23 October from 10am to 12 noon at Whiterock Library
Personalised help at a one-to-one eClinic
- Wednesday 1, 8 and 15 October from 9.30am to 12.30pm at Belfast Central Library.
The sessions provide IT help for beginners. Take part in this 45-minute session for help with your mobile device, general IT assistance or information about library e-services.

Online advice
- Wednesday 8 October and Friday 10 October from 1.30pm to 2.30pm at Knocknagoney Community Centre.
An IT expert will be on hand to discuss digital issues including how to stay safe online. Drop in and get support with digital challenges, no matter how small, whether it's requesting an online refund, buying car insurance or using social media.
