A half-day free event bringing together public sector buyers and suppliers from across Northern Ireland and Ireland for learning and collaboration in Belfast City Hall.

On Wednesday 25 March 2026, we're delivering, in partnership with InterTradeIreland and supported by leading public procurement bodies, a Meet the Buyer event to provide a platform to connect buyers and suppliers and to explore procurement opportunities in Northern Ireland’s public sector market.

Confirmed buyers include Belfast City Council, Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, Derry City and Strabane District Council, Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, Ards and North Down Borough Council, Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, Translink, BSO Procurement and Logistics Service, Housing Executive, NI Water, Education Authority, Construction and Procurement Delivery (CPD) and Office of Government Procurement (OGP).

What you will gain

You do not need to be an existing supplier to attend. The event is aimed at: 

all businesses including micro, SME, Voluntary Community and Social Enterprises interested in supplying goods, services or works to Northern Ireland public bodies,
businesses seeking to understand how public procurement works in Northern Ireland,
businesses exploring cross-border supply opportunities, and
businesses wanting to explore collaborative tendering opportunities.

Partnered with InterTradeIreland, this event has an all-island focus and is open to businesses from both Northern Ireland and Ireland. The event will help businesses understand how to access procurement opportunities in Northern Ireland and identify where cross-border trade and collaboration may be possible.
