Newry based band ‘Paul and the Meanie’ have been crowned champions of the inaugural ‘Great Belfast Busk Off’.

Newry based band ‘Paul and the Meanie’ have been crowned champions of the inaugural ‘Great Belfast Busk Off’.

During a busy day of competition on Saturday (18 August) in Cornmarket, band members Cormac Daly and Darragh McSloy wowed the judges with their energetic, high tempo set, which seen them claim the top prize of recording time in Half Bap Studios, and a run of 100 CDs.
