Council helps Belfast businesses trade online

Belfast based businesses are being offered a series of free webinars to help them trade online.

Belfast based businesses are being offered a series of free webinars to help them trade online.

Belfast City Council is offering this support in a bid to help businesses affected by Covid-19 restrictions successfully transition to online business.

Chair of Belfast City Council’s City Growth and Regeneration Committee, Councillor Ryan Murphy said: “Since the beginning of the pandemic, we’ve adapted our support to provide digital advice and mentoring for Belfast based businesses. Feedback is telling us that our webinars are proving to be really popular and valuable – and we want to continue to provide relevant, practical advice and guidance during these challenging times so that our city’s businesses can survive this period and adapt to begin growing sales once again.   I’d encourage any business seeking support in trading online to sign up for this series of webinars.”

The sessions will cover the following:

4 June: Keeping customers engaged with captivating content – giving guidance on keeping customers engaged and informed during COVID-19.

11 June: Using Facebook Ads to reach new customers – how to convert more people into paying customers.

18 June: Reach more customers with Google Ads - getting in front of customers when they’re searching for businesses like yours.

25 June: Making your website work - providing practical tips and guidance to turn a business website into a lead and sales generating machine.
