Belfast’s Botanic Gardens will mark the turning of the seasons with the return of Autumn Fair on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September.
Among the highlights is the popular Autumn Flower Show with prize-winning autumnal blooms, floral art displays and seasonal vegetables.
Food and craft stalls will be selling local produce and treats.
There will be food demonstrations, dancing, autumn-themed arts and crafts, carnival rides and a Jurassic theme throughout the event.
There will also be local concert bands on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm, including:
- Comber Silver Band
- Lord Londonderry’s Own CLB Flute Band
- Wellington Memorial Silver Band
Palm House and Tropical Ravine tours
Join a free guided tour of the glass houses on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September.

We have classes for flowers, plants, honey and children. Children's classes include:
- Class 104 Mr and Mrs Potato Head.
- Class 105 A miniature garden on a plate.
- Class 106 A dinosaur mask.
- Class 107 A dinosaur made of recycled materials.
Entries cost £1 except children's classes which are free.
