The session will cover:

• an introduction to the academy programme
• what training is involved to gain the skills and qualifications needed to get a job in construction, maintenance and utility work, and
• how to apply.

The construction employment academy is aimed at supporting people who would like a job in the construction industry. The course lasts for four weeks starting on Monday 10 November 2025. It includes recognised qualifications and training such as:

• CABWI Street Works Certification
• CSR Training
• Emergency First Aid
• Health and Safety at Work
• Abrasive Wheels  
• Fire Warden Training
• Manual Handling
