We need a road closure application to be made in plenty of time before the event so we can publically advertise it.
Applications are published in appropriate local newspapers on a rotation basis, and also added to our current applications.
We must then allow a 21-day period for representations to be submitted and to be determined by the council.
If you wish to object to or support any proposed road closure you need to make a submission to us in writing, within 21 days of the publication of the notice in a local newspaper and on this website, that is we must receive it before the objection deadline date given in the table above. You must outline your reasons for objecting or supporting the road closure.

Written comments on the application listed should be submitted by email, post, or in person within 21 days of the date advertised.
