The Belfast Festival of Learning makes a welcome return to the city with a week-long programme of free interactive and engaging events.
Promoting lifelong learning for people of all ages, the festival will take place in venues across Belfast from Monday 20 until Sunday 26 March.
Belfast is part of UNESCO’s Global Network of Learning Cities and was awarded a UNESCO Learning Cities Award for outstanding learning milestones in 2021.

- Mindful walking in our city parks
Mindfulness is now scientifically known to support our mental health. It helps us to value moments, enabling and training us to focus on the present, not the past or the future. Enjoy a one-hour walk in one of Belfast’s city parks guided by trained walk leaders and take time to appreciate the natural environment and connect with nature. Organisers particularly welcome people with sensory support needs/disabilities. Booking is essential.

This creative arts workshop explores the connection between our memory and places or spaces in Belfast. Each participant is invited to add their own matchbox memory to build an alternative cityscape.
