Belfast is getting ready for a Titanic Céilí on Titanic Slipways this Saturday July 23 from 1-5pm as part of Belfast TradFest (July 23-29).

Belfast Lord Mayor Councillor Tina Black helped to launch this fun free outdoor Céilí, which will feature music and fun for all the family including Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh of Altan, Pure Blarney, Antrim and Derry Fiddlers, Cleamairí Feirste / Belfast Wren Boys, Bodhrán Circle, Old Style traditional dance demonstrations, children’s art workshops and more.

Belfast TradFest is a weeklong event supported by Maritime Belfast Trust, Belfast City Council, Tourism Northern Ireland, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and TG4, with a jam-packed programme featuring a summer school and a full line-up of concerts, workshops, talks, lectures, sessions, céilís and festival club.

It is the only festival of its kind in Northern Ireland and brings together both the Irish and the Ulster-Scots musical traditions, in a shared celebration of culture and heritage.
