Opening hours at the City of Belfast Crematorium vary according to the nature of your visit.

General enquiries

The City of Belfast Crematorium is open for general enquiries and for viewing the Books of Remembrance at the following times:

Monday to Friday - 9am to 4pm
Saturday - 9am to 12pm
Sunday - 2pm to 4pm.

The Crematorium building is closed on some bank and public holidays - please call us on 028 9044 8342 for
more details.

Cremation times

The crematorium hosts cremations at the following times, at 30 minute intervals:

Monday to Thursday - 9am to 3pm
Friday - 9am to 2pm
Saturday - 9am to 11am.

Please note that there are no cremations on Sundays.

A total of 30 minutes is reserved for each service. If you require more time, a double service booking can be arranged at no extra cost.

During very busy periods, we may work outside the above hours.

Crematorium grounds and Roselawn Cemetery

The crematorium grounds and Roselawn Cemetery are open every day of the year, as follows:

March

Monday to Saturday - 8am to 6pm
Sunday - 10am to 6pm.

April to September

Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday - 8am to 6pm
Tuesday and Thursday - 8am to 8pm
Sunday - 10am to 6pm.

October

Monday to Saturday - 8am to 6pm
Sunday - 10am to 6pm.

November to February

Monday to Saturday - 8am to 4pm
Sunday - 10am to 4pm.
