The Bank of Ideas is a new initiative by Belfast 2024 that enables the people of Belfast to propose and collectively decide on creative projects for our city.

93 ideas were presented to the public at our Voting Day in City Hall, at a buzzing market stall of creative ideas!

Every idea was fantastic and gained new supporters across the city.

After a grand total of 2,253 votes across the city, here are the ideas that received the most votes and the funding for City Centre with a total pot of £10,000:

Workshops in July & August, competition in September 2024

Creative workshops for kids to make bee shaped recycled paper and paper mache seed bombs, including a creative competition with an art exhibition and prizes.

Communal Printmaking on 10 metre rolls of paper with colourful ink, mark making with hands, wheels, flowers and more!

Accredited Aromatherapy Health Massage training for members of the asylum and refugee communities, promoting self-care; teamworking and mental health.

Neurodiversity SPARK

Neurodiversity SPARK - Family Fun Day

August 2024

A family fun day for neurodivergent parents and children, where parents and children can socialise with people like them, with arts stations, guitar lessons, creative writing sessions, quiet areas and food!

Belfast Women's Circle

Saturday 21st September 2024

A sharing circle for women and girls of all generations and cultures, on World Gratitude Day, to share stories, boost connections and mental health, with free yoga, meditation, mindfulness and writing workshops.
