Set in the heart of Belfast City Hall, this exciting new addition to the existing visitor exhibition uses cutting-edge digital technology delivered by BT to create an engaging and innovative immersive installation for all ages.
Experience the digital magic of augmented reality as walls crumble to uncover secret rooms, books open their pages to let their stories take flight into the air, and virtual children invite you to join their street games. Explore the city from a bird’s eye view with the help of a digital three-dimensional scale model powered by the latest advanced wireless technology from BT.
The City Hall exhibition offers a journey through the city’s rich culture. The immersive experience, hosted across three rooms, explores: the city’s unique language variations and how they emerged from the tapestry of history and movement of people; the changing landscape of the city as it expanded both outwards and upwards; and the vibrant, variety of life that has filled the city streets both past and future.
The City Hall immersive experience is a collaborative R&D project between BT and Belfast City Council.
