Book of condolence opens in City Hall for Sri Lanka attacks

A book of condolence is now open at City Hall in memory of those who died in the attacks in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday.

Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Deirdre Hargey, joined the High Sheriff of Belfast, Alderman Tommy Sandford, and the Reverend Dr Maithrie White, who was born in Sri Lanka but now lives in Northern Ireland, to open a book of condolence at City Hall today for those who lost their lives in the attacks in Sri Lanka on Sunday.

A book of condolence for Lyra McKee also remains open for signing within the building.
