Physical investment

Our £600m physical investment programme is a rolling programme of investment which began in 2012 to improve existing facilities and create new assets for communities across the city.

It includes:

• our capital programme, which includes significant ongoing investment to improve our own facilities
• our funding programmes, which involves investment by the council to improve facilities within communities 
• capital projects and programmes that we deliver in partnership with other funders and central government departments to help regenerate communities.
