Bin collections from 9 May 2022
Our usual bin collection service resumed on Monday 9 May.
Please leave your bin out as normal on your usual collection day, from 7am to 7pm.
We are aiming to operate a normal collection service however some residents may experience continued disruption as our crews work to clear routes which have been impacted by industrial action in recent weeks.
In some circumstances, we may not be able to empty your bin. This could be because our lorry fills up quicker than usual as we collect higher volumes of waste, or we had trouble getting to your street or property due to parking or roadworks.
From Monday 9 May, if your black, brown, or blue bin, glass box or stacker box is not emptied by 7pm on your normal collection day, our crews will return as soon as possible (usually within three to five working days). Please leave your bin out, including over the weekend, at the usual collection point for collection.
You can report a missed bin to us by using our report a missed bin collection form – please use this form for bins missed from Monday 9 May. We cannot return for bins missed before this date.
If you have a large build-up of waste due to the recent strike and have access to transport, our recycling centres or amenity sites will accept bags of household waste, recyclables, and garden waste. Please sort these materials before going to our recycling centres or amenity sites.
