Burials can take place in four of our cemeteries - Roselawn, Dundonald, Knockbreda and Belfast City Cemetery.
Heritage project at the City Cemetery
We have received funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Parks for People Programme to develop a large scale heritage project at the City Cemetery. The project is designed to protect and enhance the history and heritage of the site and allow more people to access and understand it.
We held a workshop on Wednesday 22 March to share views on how we can improve the experience for those who visit Belfast City Cemetery.
Our Bereavement Services office is located on the Ground Floor, Cecil Ward Building, 4-10 Linenhall Street, Belfast, BT2 8BP.
Our phone number is 028 9027 0296.
Contact our Bereavement Services office if you have a query about our cemeteries.

About our cemeteries
Roselawn is currently the only cemetery with new burial plots available.
There are no new grave plots available in either Dundonald or Belfast City Cemetery, but burials can still take place in existing graves.
Cremations are conducted at City of Belfast Crematorium.
We also maintain five historical cemeteries.
