Access to Roselawn Cemetery

A programme of planned roadworks by Northern Ireland Water is currently taking place on the Knock Road during July 2016 and will progress to the Ballygowan Road in August 2016.

Work on the left turn slip road from Knock Road onto Ballygowan Road and the road crossing is to be completed during off peak periods (night or weekend).

These roadworks may affect travel to cremation services at City of Belfast Cremation or funeral services at Roselawn Cemetery and we ask you to take this information into account when arranging services or travelling to the locations.

It is expected that all work will be completed by the end of August 2016.

About our cemeteries

Roselawn is currently the only cemetery with new burial plots available.

There are no new grave plots available in either Dundonald or Belfast City Cemetery, but burials can still take place in existing graves.

Cremations are conducted at City of Belfast Crematorium.

We also maintain five historical cemeteries.
