Support for young people

  • Career and learning programmes

We want to help the young people in our city to realise their potential and achieve their career goals. We have support programmes and we work with organisations to help young people get work experience, pass their GCSES and offer support to help them get into employment.

  • Support and mentoring to get a job

We can help the young people in our city who need support to get the training and skills they need to get a job. With one to one mentoring our programme is designed to suit each person's needs.

    Programme Open to
Belfast Youth Support Anyone aged 16 to 24 year olds, living in Belfast and who needs help or support to help them get a job

    How to register

  • GCSE Maths and GCSE English Support Programme

Through our GCSE Maths and GCSE English Support Programme, we provide young people in Belfast with extra support to help them get a Grade C in their GCSE Maths and GCSE English. Teachers apply to the support programme on behalf of their students.

Register your interest in getting support

Students who live in Belfast can register their interest in the support programme. If you're predicted to get a low Grade C or below in GCSE Maths or GCSE English and would like extra help with these subjects, you can express your interest online in getting support.

We will contact you to find out more about the areas of support you would like. We'll also try to answer common support questions.
