3. Contract duration
3.1
Subject to the Council's rights of termination under the Contract:
3.1.1 the Contract shall be in force for the Initial Period.
3.1.2 the Council shall have the option to renew the Contract after the Initial Period from year to year (“the Subsequent Period(s)”);
3.1.3 the Council may exercise the option to renew the Contract by giving the Contractor no less than 12 weeks’ notice prior to the expiry of the Initial Period or the current Subsequent Period.
